Spring is almost here, and that means it's time for volleyball! Craven County Recreation's Adult Co-Ed Beach Volleyball League is a great way to spend your Monday evenings with some friends. With a Recreation Division for less experienced players and an Open Division for more competitive play, everyone is welcome! We follow the USA Volleyball Guidelines for Four-Player Beach Volleyball, with local modifications for our league. Our team composition is 4 on 4, no more than two male players on each team at a time.
Games take place on Monday nights between 6:30 and 8:00. Games are played best 2 out of three, and scheduled to take about 45 minutes total. Teams will be scheduled for a minimum of 10 regular season games and at least one tournament game, plus any additional tournament games based on performance. Tournament winners in each division receive a beach towel and bragging rights.

Note:All players must be registered through RecDesk. Anyone who is not registered through RecDesk (Captain/Team Registration or Player Registration) will be ineligible to participate in any regular season or tournament games. All team rosters will be accessible through RecDesk.
This league is "team-based," meaning teams are registered by a team captain and the team registration fee is paid as a whole, not individually. If a participant is not part of a team, they can register as a free agent. Free agents are not guaranteed to be placed on a team as that will be up to each individual captain and their need for additional players.
Payment is due prior to the first game of the season. If a team has not paid by the first game, it will be an automatic forfeit, but they will be allowed to play. If payment has not been received by week two, the team will not be allowed to play and will continue to forfeit. If payment has not been received by week three, the team will be removed from the schedule.
