2023 Spring Youth Beach Volleyball League Dates

All Events will take place at Creekside Park, 1821 Old Airport Rd. New Bern

Spring Youth Beach Volleyball League is back! This league is for girls and boys in 5th through 9th grade. There will be a Skills Evaluation and Team Selection on April 30th at 2:00. Practices begin May 9th, with each team having one practice weekly either Tuesdays or Thursdays at 5:30 or 6:30 pm. Games will be held on Sunday afternoons at 2:00, on May 14th, May 21st, June 4th, and June 11th. Game days will be double headers, with each team playing two sets of games each week. Every team will play a total of eight regular season games, followed by a end-of-season single elimination tournament, scheduled for June 18th.

Practices will be led by Craven County Recreation program staff. Each team will need a volunteer parent Team Manager who will help with practices and manage the team during the games. Team Managers do not need a background in volleyball, just a willingness to help. If you are interested in being a Team Manager, please let us know below!
