Play ball! Craven County's Spring Co-Ed Softball League is just around the corner! Teams of 10-20 men and women will play weekly, on Thursday nights, for a chance to be crowned league champions. From former college stars to families looking to spend time together, all teams are welcome! This is a Slow Pitch Softball league following the Southern Softball Association of America ruleset, with local rules modifications. For the full rulebook, please see the link below.
Games are played on Thursday evenings beginning at either 6:30pm or 7:00pm, dependent upon the number of teams registered. Games are scheduled with a 1-hour and 10-minute time limit. Rainouts will be made up the following Tuesday evening. Teams are guaranteed to be scheduled for a minimum of nine regular season games and one tournament game, plus any additional tournament games based on performance. Tournament winners will receive a plaque and bragging rights.

Note: All players must be registered through RecDesk. Anyone who is not registered through RecDesk (Captain/Team Registration or Player Registration) will be ineligible to participate in any regular season or tournament games. All team rosters will be accessible through RecDesk.
This league is "team-based," meaning teams are registered by a team captain and the team registration fee is paid as a whole, not individually. If a participant is not part of a team, they can register as a free agent. Free agents are not guaranteed to be placed on a team as that will be up to each individual captain and their need for additional players.
Payment is due prior to the first game of the season. If a team has not paid by the first game, it will be an automatic forfeit, but they will be allowed to play. If payment has not been received by week two, the team will not be allowed to play and will continue to forfeit. If payment has not been received by week three, the team will be removed from the schedule.
